VISUAL ARTS.
The beauty of nature and “the heavens declare the glory of God” (Psalms 19:1). Visual arts has been used as a way to communicate belief and theological truths. For example, fish, lambs, and doves are often used as images of Christ, sacrifice, and the Holy Spirit. It has been a significant part of Christian history, and used to express faith since the second century AD in worship, communication and reflection in God. From Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper, to Raphael’s Transfiguration and Michelangelo’s work on the Sistine Chapel — masters of fine arts during the Renaissance helped renew public interest in classical and Christian sources.
From paintings, ceramics, sculpture and photographs, as well as applied arts like as animation, interior design and decorative art — we aim to provide an environment where artists can express individuality and also collaborate together. With funding, we want to help Christian artists share their works of art to the public in a broader scope.
